The room of violence subdued

Where the shells of many have been laid to rest.

Are you one of those people who shoot targets for fun or just for somthing to do? You won’t end up here. This room is here solely for the benifit of those who love violence. Those who love domanice and death and wish to be up to their ankles in the blood of their opponents.

Description:
The room is a gun store. It’s usally empty although the agent of the room would normally be at the counter if it had one. In the store there are all manner of hunting products and magazines as well as a tv and a set of hunting videos. On the walls are all kinds of animial heads and past the desk there even appear to be a few human ones. Off to the side there is a door that leads to an indoor shooting range and past that is a yard area enclosed in brick set up like a skeetshoot.

Targets:
Any mass murderer or such will do. As will any charecter with more then 5 failed notches. Otherwise unless someone throws you in here the room won’t go after you.
Renunciation:
When the target of the room enters he finds himself in the store area. Should she pick up any of the items he will be given a vision of him using them. At first she is shooting targets then as he looks at more it moves up to animials then people. Should she watch the tapes they show such programs as “The great Infidel hunt” which shows the slaughter of an orphanage and “Martha Stewert Dying” Which shows someone being killed, and if watched all the way through cooked.

Should the target enter the shooting range he will find all manner of guns and crossbows at his disposal. Should she fire them at targets he will find that all the targets have turned into people. Her family, his heros, everyone she loves will appear and die screaming.

Should he decide to visit the skeet shoot before or after this the room will give her one more vision. He will find a gun being given from her. A scruff voice says ready, aim, fire and they cannot help but shoot a line of innocent targets. Then they are thrust against the wall. Suddenly they here the same ready, aim, fire and feel as if they are shot. Experencing everything as they fall to the ground and black out. They then awaken laying in a pool of blood but completly fine. Their hands are also covered in the blood which flows on them and rolls down to the ground endlessly.

As you can imgaine this room tends to cause a lot of checks in every catigory. Thats the point. The idea of this room is that it keeps thrusting horrors at you until you crack. Once someone has hit five failed notches in any catagory they get another vision. They see them with the people that they love. They see themselves smiling and laughing as they get rid of all their weapons. They see themselves walking out happily after rejecting their boxing club membership. As these visions take place the target makes a soul roll. For each sucessful roll they remove a hardened from violence and once they get to 1 they may begin to remove failed from their gauge that is at five as their personality is remade.
Once they are at 0 in that guage they may leave.

Note that those that stay sane come out more hardend and crazy then they were before.

Agents:
The room has no agents but the sleepers know the ritual to summon it and use it when they don’t want to kill someone but want to quiet his ways down. A few other cables, and dukes know it also. The surprise is the room is able to slightly warp their minds as well and give them their next target should it find one.

Abilites:
Anger Management:
This room may appear at door where violence occurs. Therefor. The NRA headquarters would most likely not work but a wrestling tournament entrance would.

Profit in the red:
The room supplies its agent with a back room to sleep in, and (vegen)meals. He is also given $333 for every target renuciated.

Lucky Shot:
The agent is able to manapulate any roll by exactly ten.

    One note: you can’t summon a Room without going in, and only those who have been Renounced through the Room can come and go without being inverted. It’s more appropriate that the Sleepers have an agent who has been sent though the works before and they call him out on special cases to play the escort.

    Of course, this would mean that there’s an Agent of Renunciation working with the Sleepers… these guys who know how to open the Room are not likely random dukes. They’re just part-time agents of the Room, plain and simple, living in the real world instead of the Room’s cot.
