Spellbroken

If you’re a small-time player and think getting your face un-melted is worth letting some dead guy take over for as long as it can, this might just be good enough…

——————–

Cost: 5 Minor Charges

Effect: Except for the whole “being possessed by a demon” bit, this functions just like the normal “Spellbreaker” ritual (UA2, pg. 99), mostly because demons don’t much care for their host body being deformed, weakened, or restricted by those annoying old spells. This version accounts for more than 95% of the “Spellbreaker” formulae on the market, because this is the version that demons really like to teach. The price cut conveniently makes this spell accessible to the masses.

Ritual Action: Take a starfish and a stinging jellyfish, living or dead doesn’t matter, but they have to be still be soft. Lace the legs of the starfish between the fingers of your left hand, and the tentacles of the jellyfish between the fingers of your right. Stick your tongue out to make a “raspberry.” As you make this face, crush your two hands (the starfish and the jellyfish) together.

After I posted it, I thought of another ritual action that I liked more, but I figure that there’d be lots and lots of variations on this, so I might as well put them both out there:

Ritual Action: Take a dead stinging jellyfish in your left hand, lacing its tentacles between your five fingers. With your right hand make the “sign of the devil” (like those kids at Ozzy concerts). As your making the sign, close your left hand, crushing the jellyfish.

the minor/major “charges” you receive per action wouldn’t happen to be a
    billing charge would it?

I have no idea what you mean by that. Care to clarify?
