Guys, I think I’ve found a way that we can hide from any magickal detection hexes the Sleepers try to sling our way – especially while we’re at the Great Work!

Some freaks here in Philly just took out some other freak after a long feud, the details of which I won’t get into here. Anyway, he’d been hiding for a long time, even from scrying. The way I hear it, when they finally caught up with him, one of them noticed that his belt was twisted into a moebius shape.

I didn’t think much of this until much later, when it hit me:
1. When you’re wearing a belt, you’re inside it.
2. Moebius strips only have one side – the inside eventually becomes the outside and vice-versa.
3. It is, therefore, impossible to be on the inside of a moebius strip, because you’re facing the same surface as the outside world is.
4. Therefore, twisting your belt into a moebius shape causes ‘geometrical dissonance’ – the world knows you’re inside something that it’s impossible to be inside of, and therefore that you’re not anywhere describable. Attempts to pin your location down by magick (or, to put it another way, by asking the world where you are) will come up with zilch, or possibly just nonsense.

Anyway, I think that by adopting this throughout the organisation we ought to be able to hide effectively from anyone using magick to spy on us! What do you guys think?

If anyone out there is interested in a template for Mak Attax posts (pretty much identical to the ones seen in Break Today), send an email to gamer at sluggy dot net – I’ll flick you the template.

Good rumor. Goofy enough to be on the Mak Attax list, and I really like the work you took to make it look like its from the Break Today source book

It was probably a symbolic element in that freaky guys tilt to screw up other peoples ability to detect him. That would be my guys. Unless its a ritual like the turn your coat inside out to be invisible to fairies… bit
