Elizabeth Bathory: Blood Countess

Sometimes, beauty is more than skin deep.

You’ve heard the stories, haven’t you? Years ago, one woman, spiriting away young girls, bathing in their blood, and becoming youthful. Some horror story, right? Wrong. She was real, her name was Elizabeth Bathory, called the Blood Countess. If the name rings a bell, then you probably heard that she was caught, bricked up in a room, and promptly died.

Well that’s bullshit.

Truth is, Elizabeth lived. And, according to some, is still around today, appearing as arm candy on some of the world’s wealthiest people. How? Why? The answer is simple. Magick. Nobody’s sure how she remained to stay youthful for so long. Maybe she got a major charge, maybe she found an immortality ritual, either way, she’s here, and she’s hungering for some killing.

Personality

(Scorpio) Possesses an air of sensuality and humor, but is really, controlling, ruthless, and jealous.

Obsession: (Thanatomancy) The moment when the life leaves somebody’s eyes, where their blood falls like rain. It’s wine, sex, and the greatest drug all in one to her.
Rage: Someone getting in the way of her sacrifices.
Fear: (Helplessness) Not being able to keep herself youthful.
Noble: Hunting Animals. They understand how it feels to take down your prey, and revel in it’s destruction.

Average Elizabeth
Elizabeth is rich, as she’s always been. She’s got the best money can offer, and has quite a few residences and safe houses. A few are her “hunting grounds,” places where she can get charges and enact her rituals.

Elizabeth’s Thanatomancy ritual consists of:
Getting beautied up, ready to go on the club hunt.
Seducing or Coercing the prey, and taking them back to her torture chamber.
Then it’s a dominance game, after seeing the various devices, most subjects flee, allowing the Countess to show them the truth of their ends.
The whole time, Elizabeth prays to her various deities, in what seems to be Romanian.
Finally, after the sacrifice has been subdued, she drags them back to the chamber, where they finally die, tortured in inhumane ways and drained of their blood.

Elizabeth rarely hunts animals, unless she’s really desperate.

Elizabeth has a few Artifacts, but one is notable in particular; The Vampire Bathtub.

At first, it looks like a Gothic-styled bathtub, marble with iron feet and bat wing accents. Creepy, yes, but still an ordinary bathtub, right? Not exactly. If you took a bath with just water, nothing significant would happen, but fill it with blood, and then the really fun happens. If filled with blood, any persona bathing in the tub at the time will heal 3 points of damage per hour spent in the tub.

Now on to the major issue: The way she stays young. She has a ritual for that.

The Bathing of The Crimson Moon
Cost: 5 Significant Charges
This ghastly ritual first involves the would be bather procuring a tub, and several human’s entire blood supplies, from people they killed themselves. The ritual must be done on a night where you can see the moon, and it has to be performed under moonlight. Then, before getting in, the caster has to drop one thing from each sacrifice into the blood in the tub, where it will promptly dissolve. The caster must offer a prayer to the moon, and then become submerged into the fluid. After spending a few hours in the tub, and spending the charges, the caster starts to regress, one year per person sacrificed.

Okay, first submission up, hope it’s not too terrible. This was a sort of response to someone else who threw the idea out, but never actually did anything with it. So I took it on.

Is ‘cut you up’ supposed to be a fighting skill? Because you could have just renamed struggle ‘cut you up’ and added the extra points to that.

Yeah, it is. I didn’t think of that, but maybe I should’ve…

Considering that you can become a year younger or stop ageing for six months with just one sig charge, the crimson moon ritual would only be worth it for groups of six or more. Not that it wouldn’t be worth it, just that it’s not the only way of staying young she has at her disposal.
