Trotski’s Icepick

Good for all your DIY projects.

In Chicago, three anarchists were found in their apartment after neighbours called the police about a rotting smell coming from their abode. They were dead among blueprints of government buildings, huge stores of chemicals, and pictures and profiles of many local government officials. Each had been stabbed in the head or neck.

On May 21st, 2002, a drug dealer in Miami was washed on shore, his hands and feet bound, with a bag over his head. Police have no leads.

Last week, a Korean politician was murdered while visiting California. While he was sitting on the beach, someone stabbed him in the back of the neck with an icepick. Shortly thereafter, the icepick dissapeared from police custody.

Trotsky’s Icepick is obviously quite old. It is brown with rust, and the wooden handle is cracked and grey with age. It has been used in over seventy murders since it retired from a humble life of picking ice and took up a profession as a tool of assasination. It has aquired a certain life of its own, and always tends to find its way to the hands of those with killing in mind. It never stays locked up or put away for long. It prefers being handled by professionals, but sloppy use is better than no use.

Statistically speaking, it allows its owner access to the first Executioner channel, and adds 10% to the avatar: Executioner skill of any such avatar that uses it.

In addition, it adds a culmative 10% to the Struggle skill of its wielder when being used against a politician, a leader of men, and any Rebel avatars. The condition to this is that it must be used in cold blood. It does no good to use the icepick on the guy that breaks into your house and begins skinning your family and using their skin to write some kind of book, even if that person happens to be the mayor of Topeka. Just ask Jamie Hayworth, if you can somehow find a way to commune with the dead.

Topeka, by the way, is doing wonderfully these days.
