Saint Sushi

Content Warning: Cannibalism

Minor Ritual (4 Charges)
Action: Carve a sliver of flesh from your saint, dealing at least 3 wounds if they’re alive. For at least a day, preserve it in either holy alcohol (such as sacremental wine) or salt.
When you need to use it, place the meat in your mouth, whisper a prayer appropriate to your saint, chew and swallow.
This act of cannibalism is a Rank 7 Self check for people whose culture holds it as taboo, which is going to be most of them.
Effect: For the next twenty four hours, you have an additional noble passion, the same as your saint’s. You can use it to make rerolls and an additional flip-flop, use it to attack shock gagues (and be attacked) and you face Self checks for violating it.

What Constitutes A Saint?

For the purposes of this ritual, at least three of these must apply:

-Someone who had used their noble passion for a flip-flop or re-roll at least thirty times over the last three months
-Someone who has not acted against their noble passion in the past year
-Someone with less than three hardened notches in Self
-A 71+% avatar of a suitably saintly archetype (Healer, Martyr, Confessor, Warrior, others at GM’s discretion)
-Someone who died in service to their noble passion.
-A willing donor of their flesh to your cause.

Does this mean you can have Saints who are nobly inspired to selling humanity on the blockchain or the protection of the Aryan race? Yes. Maybe don’t trust terminology created by cannibals.
